Flight Across America 2010 - Renewable Energy

EcoFlight's 2010 Flight Across America Student Program studied renewable energy and transmission and wildlife corridors in Colorado and New Mexico. Four high school students from the Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado, accompanied EcoFlight to study the topic in depth, attending seminars and press conferences and meeting other students along the route.
The program conducted overflights of solar arrays in Colorado's San Luis Valley and teamed up with students from the Santa Fe Indian School for overflights of wind farms in New Mexico.The Santa Fe Indian School hosted a seminar for local high school students, with presenters Robb Hirsch of the Climate Change Leadership Institiute and William Brown of The Climate Project.
