Mission
Fly the Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition, the five Tribes in charge of co-managing the national monument to help best manage and preserve this important landscape.
The 1.36 million acre Bears Ears National Monument was re-established on Oct 8, 2021, along with Grand Staircase-Escalante, by President Biden. With the restoration of this living landscape, Tribal co-management was also established - a historic moment in conservation!
Abundant cultural resources, sacred lands, and areas deeply valued by Native American Tribes are protected through these National Monuments. EcoFlight has flown Bears Ears for decades, providing the aerial perspective to Tribal leaders, stakeholders, and conservationists dedicated to protecting these lands from exploitation, environmental damage, and Tribal erasure.
