Cleveland National Forest Roadless Area

Date: 09/19/2025     State: CA     Issues: Wild Lands, Wildlife     Partner: Mojave Desert Land Trust Airport Origin : Fullerton, CA

Mission

Fly the Cleveland National Forest with conservation NGOs and elected officials to see how critical these forests are and the need to protect the Roadless Rule. Seeing these remarkable roadless areas from above is a reminder of just how vital they are for clean drinking water, thriving wildlife habitat, and the natural spaces that sustain our communities.

As you witnessed firsthand, these landscapes are irreplaceable. Yet, the proposed rescission of the Roadless Rule threatens to open them to development and fragmentation at the expense of the very values we rely on. EcoFlight is committed to ensuring that decision-makers and the public understand what’s at stake.

Thank you for your partnership and for taking to the skies with us to see what we’re working to protect. Together, we must ensure these landscapes remain whole and resilient.
