Seeing the snowpack from the air reminds us just how critical perspective is, especially when it comes to understanding the necessity of protecting our mountain ecosystems. The Roaring Fork Watershed contributes around 10% of the annual flow to the Colorado River. That makes snowpack preservation not just a local concern, but a regional imperative.
