Fly with supporters and members of the Eastern Sierra Land Trust (ESLT) to see the incredible impact of their conservation work from the air.
From above, the vast, rugged beauty of the Eastern Sierra unfolds — a landscape shaped by ancient volcanic forces, sustained by ranching traditions, and protected through powerful community partnerships.
Our flight path took us over Benton Hot Springs and Crater Mountain, where geothermal activity and high-desert ecology create a unique mosaic of life. We soared above the glistening expanse of Mono Lake, one of North America’s oldest lakes, and traced the winding paths of River Spring Lakes — a vital desert oasis. Flying over Benton Crossing, we witnessed expansive ranchlands, meadows, and sagebrush habitat that support both wildlife migration and the local agricultural economy.
Each of these views tells a story of conservation in action. Thanks to ESLT’s work with local landowners, agencies, and dedicated supporters, these lands are protected not just for today, but for tomorrow. EcoFlight and our partners are dedicated to helping ensure that the Eastern Sierra remains a place where people, wildlife, and wild places thrive.
